Legend’ is often an overused phase in cricket
but with Curtly Ambrose, it is a mere start to
describing this true legend of cricket.
Curtly terrorised opening batsman all around the
world, forming one of the greatest partnerships with
Courtney Walsh. Curtly took an amazing 405 wickets
in 98 test matches but an amazing statistic was that with
the attacking nature of Curtly's bowling he only once went
for more than 100 runs in an innings. Curtly boasts the best
economy rate of all of the nine bowlers who have taken 400
or more Test wickets at 2.31 per over

bowling, coaching and mentoring.
